Kayak adventures

The dream of being able to kayak at the edge of the world can now be realised with our newest adventure package. Imagine kayaking from Village Bay and around St Kilda, into sea caves and sheltered bays, beneath 2000 ft cliffs where the birds above look so small you can hardly see them against the skyline.

Our journey begins in Leverburgh early morning and with kayaks on board we set sail out into the open Atlantic. St Kilda looms on the distant horizon and the reality of kayaking beneath the highest sea stacks in Europe begins to dawn. As we anchor in Village Bay and have a healthy lunch there is a sense of excitement in the air as the kayaks are lowered into the water and taken ashore onto the strand in village bay.

After lunch we go ashore and kayak with your experienced guide into village bay and towards Dun before heading along the coastline of St Kilda. Following your first taste of St Kilda kayaking you return to Elinca for an evening meal and a well earned rest.

A lazy breakfast around 9:00am sets you up for the day's adventure towards Boreray and the Stacs and an experience beyond your wildest dreams. Followed by Elinca we will lunch beneath the towering peaks of Boreray before you set off again and explore the rest of this amazing archipelago. Late afternoon will once again find us in Village Bay for an early dinner before setting off for a sunset kayak at the edge of the world and the heart of nature.

The itinerary will be tailored to suit each groups individual requirements.
